  • Experienced practitioner with an interest in lifestyle medicine and women's health, including menopause

Dr Deena El-Shirbiny

MBBS, MRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH, DRCOG
  • Women's health specialist GP with over 12 years experience
  • Co-authored a medical textbook for the DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologist)
  • Experienced practitioner with an interest in different aspects of primary care, including mental health and menopause

Menopause Health and Wellness Coach
  • Derbyshire-based health and wellness coach with over 15 years of experience
  • Guides participants through Bia Care’s menopause programmes
  • As a menopausal woman herself, Diane is on a mission to help us all get through this as seamlessly - and with as little disruption to our wellbeing - as possible

Together with Imperial College London, we're working to improve menopause services in the UK.

Over 1,550 women participated in our 'Experience of menopause' (ESME) study. The results will be presented at the Royal College of General Practitioners Conference in October 2021.
